The Orientation and Benefits Coordinator, reporting to the Benefits Manager supports new employee orientation, and benefits administration. This role will coordinate orientation sessions including managing registration, tracking attendance, providing materials based on employment classification and facilitating each session to ensure smooth execution. This position assists with managing optional benefit elections and is responsible for monitoring, processing and auditing retirement benefit transactions. The Coordinator assists with preparing for retirement and other workshops conducted by the team. This role provides support to all members of the team.
• Associates Degree in Business, Administration, HR or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Ability to handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Experience with event coordination
• Prior experience providing support to a diverse employee population in a high-volume setting
• Previous experience with HR information systems such as Banner
Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime
