Job Description

A research associate with experience in disability research is sought to manage a project conducting case studies of state agencies who develop programs and projects for wildlife viewers.

The research associate will: 1) Coordinate project logistics; 2) Conduct quantitative and qualitative research; 3) Analyze results; 4) Publish reports and peer-reviewed articles; 5) Communicate results through webinars, presentations, and workshops ; and 6) Be an active member of the Dayer Lab.

The position requires travel to conduct and present on research.

Required Qualifications

- M.S. in occupational therapy or disability studies
- Knowledge and experience in social science methods especially interviews and case studies.
- Demonstrated skills in collaborating with others on teams to accomplish shared objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
- Experience writing reports and peer-reviewed publications
- Experience presenting in-person and via webinars and leading workshops.
- Experience in project management or coordination

Preferred Qualifications

- Considerable experience studying and training others about accommodations for disabled people.
- Experience communicating scientific results to state agencies staff and developing related resources.
- Experience studying wildlife viewers
- Trained as an Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator
- Experience conducting field work.
