The Player Engagement Coordinator / Football is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director of Player Engagement / Football in preparing student athletes for personal, academic & athletic development/engagement success & community involvement. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Player Engagement / Football & Chief of Staff / Football and will work directly with the Director of Operations / Football. This role is responsible for adhering to all department & university policies & procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws & interpretations of the Atlantic Coast Conference [ACC] & National Collegiate Athletic Association [NCAA].
Working knowledge of programming & academic success within a collegiate athletic program.
Experience in working with &/or providing support to a diverse student-athlete population.
Robust organizational skills with the ability to independently handle multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Limited experience in planning & managing high quality events & programs.
Requires non-standard working hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Bachelor's degree with relevant experience working in collegiate athletics or similar field.
Relevant experience working with student-athlete development &/or academic support services within intercollegiate athletics.
Experience in an NCAA Division I Power 4 football program, including the recruitment of student athletes.
Experience in community outreach and engagement.
Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime
Commensurate with experience.
