Job Description
The Office of the University Registrar is looking for an individual to join our team as a Transfer Credit and Articulation Analyst. As a Transfer Credit and Articulation Analyst you will facilitate essential services for new and continuing students including transfer credit evaluation, transfer equivalency database entry and maintenance, and other functions relating to student degree completion.

1) You will be joining the Office of the University Registrar: a department dedicated to assisting students in navigating their academic journey at Virginia Tech from admission to beyond graduation.
2) You will report directly to the Assistant Registrar for Transfer Credit. This position is a regular, calendar-year staff appointment.
3) Your primary responsibilities will encompass facilitating essential services for new and continuing students including transfer credit evaluation, transfer equivalency database entry and maintenance, and other functions relating to student degree completion
4) You will have the chance to expand your knowledge of the university and pursue career advancement within the Office of the University Registrar.
5) The salary of this position is commensurate with experience up to an expected budget max of $44,733, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid leave, and retirement options.

Required Qualifications
•Demonstrated experience with high volume customer service in an academic or professional environment
•Strong computer skills in data entry, spreadsheets, and database management
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
•Able to prioritize workload with excellent time management skills
•Work experience in a related field
•Ability to understand, explain, and apply complex policies and regulations
•Adaptable to changing responsibilities based on business need
•Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced office managing multiple assignments
•Ability to interact respectfully and comfortably with all individuals in a diverse, multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•Experience conducting internet research
•Experience working with confidential information
•Experience in the practices related to transfer articulation and statewide policies that govern its practice and implementation
•Experience with large relational databases, such as Banner
•Demonstrated knowledge of university policies regarding course transfers, the university course catalog, and graduation requirements
