Job Description

Ensures operation of all doors and door hardware including fire exit doors, exterior doors, and interior doors. Administers lock changes and lock cores in the facilities of Housing & Dining Services. Repairs/replaces hardware to maintain security within Housing & Dining Services maintained buildings. Assists in maintenance of computer database system for tracking lock codes, building access, and lock changes in accordance with established procedures. Assists with the daily supervision of staff.

Required Qualifications

• Considerable experience in performing high volumes of lock changes, recombination lock cores, and repair/replace hardware as necessary to maintain security for over 45 commercial buildings.
• Experience in electronic access systems and programming electronic keypads.
• Experience with complex key inventory coding and records and automated inventory systems.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and security of highly sensitive records and materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous extensive experience with master keying Best IC cores.
