· As needed, teach music general education courses or courses aligned with the candidate’s expertise (e.g., Music Theory/Musicianship, Music Technology, Music Business and Industry).
· Participate in audition days, advising, and program activities that support student success.
Teaching Assignment and Workload
Expected teaching assignment of three (3) courses per semester. Specific load may combine applied lessons, ensemble coaching, and lecture courses as appropriate to meet program needs.
Professional Engagement
This appointment is primarily teaching-focused and does not carry formal research or service requirements. However, the School welcomes and encourages engagement in creative activity (performances, recordings, reed-making workshops), applied research or pedagogy, and service to the School, College, University, and profession as feasible.
