HokieVision's goal is to deliver personalized, significant and unexpected experiences to fans at all of Virginia Tech's home venues. As part of the HokieVision team, the Assistant Director of In-Venue Experience (IVX) will excel in entertaining the best college fans in the country.
This position is part of the In-Venue Experience team, and will partner in developing, producing, and executing videoboard shows. Will collaborate with the Athletics' external leadership team to plan and execute department initiatives. This position will also be HokieVision’s representative in select sports squads. The position will report to the Associate Director of In-Venue Experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience, or a master's degree.
Ability to visually tell stories that contribute to fan experience.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
Ability to work in a collaborative team setting, while also being self-motivated, organized, and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed.
Experience with live game production & related equipment.
Experience supervising or training students.
In-game control room or camera experience.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects.
Exempt: Not eligible for overtime
40+. Nights and weekends as needed.
