We are seeking a skilled and motivated Radiology Technologist or Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our Diagnostic Imaging service in delivering exceptional care to small and large animal veterinary patients. In this role, you will perform a wide range of imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
• Perform routine and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
• Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols, promoting a safe environment for patients, staff, and students
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, radiologists, and clinical teams to support patient care
• Provide hands-on instruction and mentorship to senior veterinary students in imaging techniques, positioning, and radiation safety
• Support workflow with related administrative and clerical tasks
• Assist in the maintenance and quality control of imaging equipment
Schedule & Availability
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required
• Must be able to report to the clinic within 60 minutes when on call
• Designated as essential personnel, requiring availability during inclement weather and authorized closings (with additional compensation or leave provided)
• Radiology Technologist (RTR) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or registry eligible for either
• Must be able to personally enter the MRI magnet room
• Previous experience or working knowledge of diagnostic radiology
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to successfully multitask
• Experience in cross-sectional imaging of MRI and CT or experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Experience working with veterinary patients
• Experience handling large animals
• Experience with student teaching
Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime
starting at $50,000 commensurate with experience
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
