The Coaching Assistant / Men's Tennis for Virginia Tech will assist in coaching our Division I "Power 4" ACC Men's Tennis program. Assists in evaluating, recruiting, and coaching student athletes. Provides individualized instruction to student athletes. Will collaborate with other coaches in working directly with student athletes, parents, and contributors on all aspects of the program. Reports directly to the Head Coach / Men's Tennis.

Required Qualifications

Tennis coaching and/or playing experience at the NCAA Division I level.
Working knowledge of individual tennis skills and team systems.
Extensive experience providing individualized instruction/coaching to elite level junior tennis athletes.
Strong desire and ability to promote the sport to the general public.
Excellent work ethic and communication skills required to recruit high level student athletes and interact with parents and coaches.
Division I recruiting experience.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Direct knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Experience as a coach or player for an NCAA Power 4 program or professional tennis tour.
