Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director for Research Development and in coordination with the Business Manager, this position supports CECE project faculty in proposal development, project budgeting and milestone tracking, and final product editing and formatting. The project coordinator also provides administrative support including maintaining the CECE project database, working with the Director for Research Development in analyzing and tracking the status of CECE’s project portfolio, scheduling unit-wide business meetings, and other project-related work as needed. Must be a detail-oriented, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications

•Detail-oriented
•Experience with learning and mastering organizational systems
•Experience with financial concepts (e.g. budgeting, accounting, expense tracking)
•Demonstrated experience in editing and formatting reports and/or materials for public consumption
•Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in related field
•Possess experience with university administration and systems
•Experience with grant submissions
•Competency with MS Teams, Microsoft Office suite, and Canva
•Experience in a fast-paced environment
