| Virginia Tech's Shenandoah Valley Agricultural and Research Center (AREC) in Raphine, Virginia, is seeking an energetic Agricultural Technician who will be responsible for operating a tractor, planter/no-till drill, chainsaws and various farm implements. Making hay, harvesting crops, minor facilities maintenance and fence repair. Experience working with cattle, calving, breeding and moving cattle and performing other tasks as assigned for the overall operation of the AREC policies pertaining to the general maintenance of all vehicles, equipment and implements and informs the Superintendent and/or Farm Manager of problems that arise. |
