Housekeepers maintain cleanliness of the Moss Arts Center building and grounds and assure an aesthetically pleasing, clean, sanitary, and safe environment in a variety of spaces including lobbies, theater and other public event areas, performance support areas, restrooms, offices, and classrooms. They provide routine and urgent need services before, during, and after events and work a varying schedule, mostly evenings and weekends.
Duties include floor cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, window cleaning, gathering and removing trash, and leaf blowing. Housekeepers are expected to safely and responsibly operate powered and manual equipment, follow health and safety procedures, monitor supplies and inventory, and report needed building repairs, damages, and unsafe conditions.
Knowledge of commercial/industrial cleaning methods and safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work a varying schedule.
