Coordinates the Facilities Services Plans Library by providing a variety of administrative and business services including archival of record documents for efficient retrieval in computer database Laserfiche and at Records Management Services, posting of electronic construction drawings bid documents and other building documentation that aide in the maintenance and decision making processes throughout the life cycle of a building, managing library software, user permissions and access levels, coordinating software and license updates, and providing training for users of plans library software. Continually recommends improvements to make Facilities Plans Records department more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. Acts as initial point of contact for Facilities Plans Records. The position also acts as the printing and copying service of large format drawings for the Engineering Services Group.
• Associates degree in a technical field which includes Records Management or equivalent training and work experience.
• Experience managing a database.
• Experience with CAD principles and practices.
• Experience with files organization and retrieval.
• Working knowledge of desktop computer systems with particular emphasis on digital document management principles, practices and technologies.
• Basic knowledge of facilities design, construction and maintenance terminology and practices.
• Basic knowledge of Records Management/Archival practices and procedures for state owned
facilities.
• Excellent organizational, team building, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple user groups to achieve common goals.
• Previous experience with Laserfiche document management systems software.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
