Student Specialist - EHS Fitness Instructor

Job Summary:

Instructor will teach/lead exercise class for adults 50 years of age or older, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for one hour per class (9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.). Instructor is knowledgeable and proficient in teaching/leading both seated and standing exercises including but not limited to: Full range of motion, strengthening, stretching and balance work, including use of hand weights.

Work assignments require advanced knowledge, skills, or abilities.
Some independent judgment or initiative.
A considerable knowledge of the work process as obtained through on-the-job training.
May involve supervisory responsibilities for an activity of limited scope.
May require a significant amount of physical exertion, adverse hour, or working conditions.

Minimum Qualifications: Need experience/education in exercise.
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer CPR and First Aid training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have ability to plan and organize exercise program. Must be able to travel to/from Oxford Senior Center.
