YOUR ROLE

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be an integral part of our small, high-performance marketing team, working to implement marketing campaigns and support the Bunzl Australia and New Zealand (BANZ) team. Reporting to the Marketing Executive, you will thrive in a busy multi-brand environment, where attention to detail and strong copywriting skills are expected. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining marketing campaign elements across various channels, such as social media, the company blog, and print and website collateral. In addition, you will liaise and communicate with numerous stakeholders internally to ensure the smooth execution of marketing objectives and deadlines.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Compile concise and accurate briefs for campaign collateral, both digital and print.
  • Manage, load, and report on content for marketing campaigns on Bunzl Blogs.
  • Write, post, and report on social media posts for various profiles.
  • Ensure adherence to Bunzl ANZ and Exclusive Brand guidelines.
  • Track, measure, and report on social media and blog performance against campaign ROIs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Marketing Intranet page to support the Sales Team and marketing campaign deadlines.
  • Ensure effective communication and adherence to processes.
  • Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders and teams to meet marketing objectives and deadlines.
  • Provide support to the marketing team, managing marketing administration and performing other adhoc duties as required.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Recent University graduate in Marketing/Advertising/Communications or related disciplines.
  • Creative and analytical data-driven thinker.
  • Basic understanding of design.
  • Ability to analyze quantifiable metrics and optimize results.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ongoing interest in self-education about the marketing industry and new technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for Marketing and understanding of the needs of a multi-brand environment.
  • Valid Australian visa with the right to work full-time.
