YOUR ROLE
We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Paget, Mackay team. In this role, you will help oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and on time.
You will lead and support the warehouse team, coordinate picking and dispatch, assist with receiving goods, maintain stock accuracy and ensure the team continues to operate in line with Bunzl policies and procedures. The position also plays a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture, planning workloads and supporting continuous improvement across the branch.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading daily warehouse operations safely and efficiently
- Coordinating picking, dispatch, receiving and stock movement
- Supporting freight planning and order allocation
- Maintaining accurate stock, invoicing and dispatch processes
- Assisting with stocktakes and stock reconciliation
- Supporting, motivating and coaching warehouse team members
- Maintaining a strong “Safety First, Work Second” culture
- Driving continuous improvement across warehouse processes
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and keeping operations moving. You are organised, practical and calm under pressure, with the ability to balance safety, accuracy, customer service and team performance.
You will bring:
- A valid Forklift Licence — essential
- Previous warehouse, picking, dispatch and receiving experience
- Experience leading, supervising or supporting a warehouse team
- Strong attention to detail and solid time management skills
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A customer-focused mindset and practical problem-solving ability
- WHS awareness and a commitment to safe work practices
- Dangerous goods awareness or LO licence — desirable, not essential
