Trafman is a multi-divisional, civil construction company looking to add to its long-term employees within the procurement team. Its' main purpose is to deliver a range of construction materials and equipment across various civil projects from sub-division through to infrastructure.

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Delivery Driver based out of our Campbellfield Depot. In this position your time will typically be split 80/20, regarding time spent delivering various materials and equipment to construction sites, to time spent in the yard.

Position Objective

Assist the ongoing management of the yard/depot, ensuring all aspects of equipment and housing of, are completed effectively and efficiently. Assist with equipment and tools within the yard including the operation, cleanliness, and quality of the equipment. Additionally, the delivery and pick-up of equipment, materials and tools from various locations, along with basic set up and troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily delivery of materials, tools and equipment to various sites
• Assist and conduct basic yard duties incl. cleaning, organising, relocating equipment,
• Receiving, dispatching, delivering, and collecting all equipment,
• Stock-takes when required,
• Assist with customer services as required,
• Maintain equipment records electronically or hardcopy,
• All other tasks requested by your supervisor within your skill set/competency.

What you will need:

• HR License with crane truck experience,
• Forklift ticket/license,
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate at a professional level and be a team player,
• Be physically fit and pass a pre-employment medical,
• Be open to learning and developing skills,
• White Card – Construction Industry,
• Sound knowledge of WHS,
• Experienced in safe loading, securing and unloading of trucks,
• Strong work ethic, be reliable and have values in the workplace,
• Demonstrate safety leadership and collaboration in a team environment,
• Able to multitask where needed.
