As part of this dynamic team, you’ll be contributing to a high-profile project that combines technical excellence with community value.
We currently have a position available for a Project Administrator to join our civil engineering construction Youngs Crossing Road project on Brisbane’s Northside. This role is to provide administrative and commercial support to the project team. No two days are the same - expect a fast-paced, engaging environment where your attention to detail and enthusiastic, can-do attitude will really shine.
About the role:
- Accurately input delivery dockets, purchase orders, subcontractor details, and invoices into the job costing system.
- Provide support with procurement processes to ensure timely supply of materials and services for site operations.
- Maintain up-to-date registers for vehicles, plant, equipment, and staff leave records.
- Assist in managing progress claims and subcontractor payment schedules, including the preparation of certificates.
- Draft and compile project-related correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
- Coordinate and organise project meetings, events, and related logistics.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in administrative roles within the civil construction or heavy industry sector is desirable.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
- Skilled in managing and maintaining registers for vehicles, plant, and equipment.
- Solid understanding of job costing, invoicing, and procurement procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person.
