Level Scope:

Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision-making. This level is typically focused on self-development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.

Essential Functions:
  • Proactively identify and cultivate annual donors to increase support and gain new membership for the Bronco Athletic Association.
  • Build and consistently grow a pipeline of prospects through creative touchpoints that foster relationships and trust with potential partners to become donors to the department and university.
  • Lead efforts regarding, but not limited to, annual giving renewals, member acquisition, sport enhancement funds, correspondence, benefits, and solicitation.
  • Assist with creating campaigns related to growing membership and increasing revenue.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual external metrics for the department.
  • Process transactions and maintain accurate records of member interactions in various software systems.
  • Expected to attend events (e.g., home sporting events, fan events, grassroot events, marketing events) which include nights and weekends.
  • Assist with various functions, such as providing service to members, benefit fulfillment, and providing miscellaneous event support.
  • Exhibit a team-centric mindset while working with key internal departments such as Major Gifts, Ticketing, and Marketing.
  • Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Conference, and Boise State Rules Compliance.
  • This position will be required to work a non-traditional schedule which can include extended days and hours, holidays and weekends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in a collegiate or professional sports office environment.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience working in an outbound, revenue generation role.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge, Ticketmaster, and/or Salesloft software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
