Post Doctoral Research Fellow Boise, ID
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) for a National Science Foundation Human-Environment Geographical Systems project to build an agent-based model (ABM) to explore the role of ecosystem service policy in the spatial dynamics of forest conservation and exurban development. The project aims to quantify the effects of ecosystem services framing and PES program attributes on conservation behavior, PES program participation, and landscape change, evaluate the interaction of individual preferences, social norms, and institutional conflict on the emergence of spatial patterns of participation in PES schemes, and quantify the effects of framing and institutional conflict on institutional objectives. This position is based in the Human-Environment Systems Group in the School of the Environment at Boise State University.

A postdoctoral fellowship is available immediately in the NSF-funded Center for Advancing Workforce Experience through Semiconductors, Outreach, and Mentoring Excellence (AWESOME) grant at Boise State University. The overall project aims to transform neuromorphic computing architectures through interdisciplinary materials screening, growth, and device integration activities. A unique feature of AWESOME is the participation of trainees in mentoring networks, contributing to both scientific breadth and professional support. Postdoc opportunities will be scaffolded across computational materials, atomic layer deposition, ferroelectric devices, and neuromorphic computing subprojects. This fellowship is focused on the neuromorphic computing subproject.

Jeanne Clery Act
Each year, Boise State University prepares an Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report as part of the University's commitment to safety and security on campus and in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Crime Statistics Act.
