| The Custodial Supervisor position at Bates College is responsible for the supervision of an assigned custodial team including lead custodians and front line custodians to perform the duties and responsibilities of providing a clean and safe campus and building environment for Bates College students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
This position may be considered “Essential Personnel” in the event that:
An emergency occurs on the Bates campus or in the vicinity that would impact Bates
Inclement weather forces the closing of campus
Or other emergency events deemed appropriate. |

Student Accounts Receivable Coordinator

| This position supports the operational aspects of Student Accounting, including fee assessment, third-party billing, application of payments, and refund processing. In addition, this position will be responsible for executing and overseeing certain aspects of the Bates Student Health Insurance Program including monitoring health insurance enrollment and waivers, performing outreach to parents and students during the summer, resolving billing/enrollment disputes, and participating in the overall management of the program. This position is the functional backup to the Assistant Director of Student Accounting, and provides customer service to students and parents as a backup to the SFS customer support team.
This position will require the individual to be present on campus five days a week. |

| The Senior Assistant Dean of the Faculty for Operations is a professional level position that manages the core operations of the Dean of Faculty’s office, working closely with faculty and staff across a range of areas essential to the academic mission of the College. The core operations include faculty budgets, lab and office space across campus, the mechanics of faculty and staff hiring and of tenure and promotion, academic support staff, administering faculty visas, and operational support for Dean of Faculty events and activities.
The position supports the supervision of approximately 35 academic staff, serves in an operational capacity in campus teaching and learning structures, and collaborates with Facility Services to inform faculty and academic staff of maintenance and other physical issues regarding academic buildings. |

The Relief Manager position is responsible for overseeing meals in Commons, ensuring that departmental/college standards are maintained as outlined in the Dining Services Professional Guide, college handbook, sector specific expectations/policies, 2014 Food Code and Maine State / Federal liquor regulations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily position placement and training, filling open shifts, pre-shift meetings, quality assurance and development of customer relations and support in other areas of the operation as needed.

| The Registrar leads the Office of the Registrar and Academic Systems and is the chief student academic records official for Bates College. Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty (DOF), the Registrar works in consultation with leadership in the DOF and has oversight for the development, implementation, and management of activities and systems related to academic records, student registration for courses, and course scheduling. Collaborating regularly with Institutional Research, Analysis, and Planning as well as staff in the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, the registrar is responsible for internal and external requests for data. The registrar ensures compliance with all federal, state, and agency regulations affecting the college’s academic programs. |

| This hands-on position provides direct support for an increasingly diverse Bates College community utilizing excellent customer service skills. Campus Safety Officers will engage and support students, guests and stakeholders from historically underrepresented groups including students of color, LGBTQAIP2+ students, international students, students with disabilities, first-generation college students, and the student organizations dedicated to supporting these students on campus. Additionally, Campus Safety Officers will develop strong partnerships with various campus offices and key stakeholders to ensure continued positive, long lasting relationships within the Bates Community.

The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) supports intercollegiate athletics and is responsible for the care and wellbeing of student-athletes through the provision of athletic training services including testing, evaluation, assignment of training regimens, and treatment of injuries, rehabilitation and medical referrals. The ATC works directly with student-athletes to provide care, education, counseling, evaluation, treatment and rehab of athletic injuries and illnesses both on campus and at game venues.
