Third Cook (FT, FY)	Lewiston, ME
Staff holding a cook position primarily work in student dining providing approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college who dine in Commons. They are also called upon to prepare items for catered events as needed. As such, this position calls for someone who is able to safely, efficiently and consistently produce and present food in a high volume setting. A focus on providing outstanding customer service and exemplary organizational and time management skills are a must. This position may be considered “Essential Personnel” in the event that: An emergency occurs on the Bates campus or in the vicinity that would impact Bates. Inclement weather forces the closing of campus. Or other emergency events deemed appropriate.
Custodian (FT, FY)	Lewiston, ME
The Custodian position at Bates College is responsible for the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas and building, including housekeeping services for student residences. This position includes both routine work such as waste removal, such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floor surfaces, cleaning restrooms, restocking consumables and non- routine work such as window and wall washing, snow shoveling and sanding of walks, steps and porches.
Commons Associate- Service (FT, FY)	Lewiston, ME
Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events provides/oversees services for a self-operated student dining program, campus catering, cash dining operations, vending, summer programs, one day programs, major campus events, campus space scheduling and non-student short term housing. The Commons Associate-Service primarily serves as front line support for the Bates dining program which serves approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college. This position is responsible for following food safety and sanitation procedures and demonstrating positive relationships with individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills. Ability to work as part of a dynamic team who embraces communication and inclusiveness is essential to the candidates’ success. Director of Women's Golf Program	Lewiston, ME
The Director of Women’s Golf Program position is responsible for supporting and coordinating all aspects of women’s golf, providing significant contributions to the development of student-athletes through mentorship, guidance, leadership opportunities, community building, and a commitment to social justice. This position is also responsible for the administration of all phases of varsity intercollegiate athletics with guidelines from Bates College, the NCAA, and NESCAC including, compliance, scheduling competitions, travel planning, data management, practice schedules, and roster management.

The ability to work well with others from diverse backgrounds and exemplary organizational, communication, and time management skills are a must. This position is on-call and works as needed.

Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events is the food service provider for the campus. The department oversees all dining related operations and janitorial duties in Commons. This position primarily performs those front-of-the-house service and building-wide janitorial tasks required. This position is on-call and works as needed.
Retail Operations Associate	Lewiston, ME
Bates Dining, Conferences and Campus Events operates the Bobcat Den as an a la cart cash operation. The Retail Operations Associate is responsible for one-on-one customer service, safe and efficient food preparation and quality assurance, responsible alcohol service, accurate cash handling and appropriate waste management. This position calls for someone who demonstrates an ability to relate well to individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills. Exemplary organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and ability to cook and fill orders in a fast paced environment are all a must.
Carpenter - Seasonal	Lewiston, ME
This position will execute all varieties of carpentry-related construction, maintenance, renovation, and repair projects on campus, using high quality carpentry skills. This position may be considered “Essential Personnel” in the event that: An emergency occurs on the Bates campus or in the vicinity that would impact Bates; Inclement weather forces the closing of campus; Other emergency events deemed appropriate.
