The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) supports intercollegiate athletics and is responsible for the care and wellbeing of student-athletes through the provision of athletic training services including testing, evaluation, assignment of training regimens, and treatment of injuries, rehabilitation and medical referrals.

Third Cook (FT, FY) Lewiston, ME
Staff holding a cook position primarily work in student dining providing approximately 5000 meals per day to the students, faculty, staff and guests of the college who dine in Commons. They are also called upon to prepare items for catered events as needed. As such, this position calls for someone who is able to safely, efficiently and consistently produce and present food in a high volume setting. The Custodian position at Bates College is responsible for the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas and building, including housekeeping services for student residences. This position includes both routine work such as waste removal, such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floor surfaces, cleaning restrooms, restocking consumables and non- routine work such as window and wall washing, snow shoveling and sanding of walks, steps and porches.

Steward (Bates-Morse Mountain Conservation Area) Lewiston, ME
Stewards serve as on-site representatives of Bates College. Tasks include greeting and informing visitors, maintaining records, monitoring entrance and parking lot, walking trail and beach, checking for damage, rule violations, and communicating with the Lead Steward and BMMCA Director. Stewards work weekends beginning in April, then between 16-40 hour weeks in May through September, and returning to weekends only in October and possibly November. The work schedule includes weekends and holidays.
