This is a great work / life balance opportunity, you will work 4 days on and 3 days off. This role is located in the Bowen Basin and is a drive in / drive out role.
Duties Include:
Operating a loader to empty wash pad sumps
Operating a tractor with spray and slasher attachments to maintain vegetation along powerline corridors and pipelines
Spraying herbicides and other chemicals to control vegetation growth
Brush cutting to manage overgrown vegetation, maintain clear access paths, and clear around critical infrastructure assets
Assisting with infrastructure maintenance tasks involving working at heights and confined spaces
Successful candidates will have:
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 - Statement of Attainment
- Confined Spaces
- Working at Heights
- Current Drivers Licence
- Tractor Operation
- Loader / Integrated Tool Carrier (IT)
- AHCCHM307 – Prepare and Apply Chemicals to Control Pests, Weeds and Diseases
- AHCCHM304 – Transport and Store Chemicals
- AHCPMG301 – Control Weeds
On offer we have:
- 4/3 roster
- Day shift only
- Mon to Thurs roster
- DIDO opportunity
- Camp accommodation and meals supplied whilst on site
