FMS Group currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Line Borer to join our dynamic team, based at our Henderson Workshop. This role includes a mix of workshop duties and occasional site-based or DIDO work.

This is a great opportunity for a trade-qualified Machinist who enjoys working on heavy plant machinery and is looking to take ownership of a newly created position.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for performing precision line boring on a variety of heavy plant components using industry-leading equipment. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and a passion for doing things right the first time.

What You Will Bring

• Relevant Australian-recognised Machinist Trade Certificate

• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience

• Proven experience operating line boring equipment
  (Experience with Slew Mill and XY Mill highly regarded)

• Minimum MR Class WA Driver's Licence

• High Risk Work Licence

• Construction White Card

• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality

• An uncompromising attitude towards safety
