About the Role
As a Rigger with FMS Group, you'll be part of our experienced maintenance crews delivering shutdown and project works in a fast-paced mining environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out shutdown maintenance and project works across various mine sites
- Performing rigging, lifting and dogging activities in line with site procedures and industry standards
- Safely executing complex lifts using cranes, chain blocks and other lifting equipment
- Working effectively within a team to deliver shutdown scopes safely and efficiently
- Adapting to various roster schedules and site requirements
Experience in CHPP, shovel and dragline shutdown maintenance will be highly regarded.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current High Risk Work Licence – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging (RB, RI or RA)
- Current Dogging (DG) Licence
- Demonstrated shutdown and/or mining industry experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
- Current Working at Heights, Gas Test and Confined Space tickets
- Current Driver’s Licence
