About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager West Coast Operations, you'll be responsible for leading the West Coast Asset, Repairs & Maintenance division, overseeing operational delivery while driving sustainable business growth throughout Western Australia.

You'll lead a team of more than 30 employees and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably, while developing new client relationships and creating a strong pipeline of future work.

This role requires regular travel to client sites throughout WA and offers the opportunity to work closely with Tier 1 mining clients across shutdowns, maintenance and project delivery.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Division Manager, you will:

• Lead and grow the West Coast Asset, Repairs & Maintenance division.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand FMS Group's presence across WA.
• Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of maintenance, shutdown and project work.
• Drive business development through new and existing client relationships.
• Lead tender submissions, estimating and commercial negotiations.
• Manage divisional budgets, P&L performance and financial outcomes.
• Ensure the successful delivery of shutdowns, maintenance projects and ongoing contracts.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and operational teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, systems and operational performance.
• Build a positive, high-performing culture aligned with FMS Group's values.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ systems and legislative requirements.

About You

We're looking for an experienced leader who understands both the operational and commercial sides of the mining maintenance industry.

You'll bring:

• Mechanical trade qualification 
• Proven experience managing maintenance, shutdown or asset maintenance operations within mining or heavy industry
• Demonstrated success leading large operational teams
• Strong business development capability with experience securing new work and growing client relationships
• Experience preparing estimates, tenders and commercial proposals
• Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L performance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
• A genuine commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
• Current C Class Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

• Experience working with Tier 1 mining companies
• Experience in a contracting environment
• Heavy Mobile Equipment maintenance background
• HR Driver's Licence
• Supervisor or Leadership qualifications
