The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Project Manager – Diversity and Inclusion to lead the implementation of our newly developed Diversity and Inclusion Framework. This pivotal role will drive inclusive practice across all Berry Street programs and services, ensuring alignment with the principles of intersectionality and best practice guidelines from the Victorian State Government and Rainbow Health.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and project management of diversity and inclusion initiatives across Berry Street Yooralla.
- Facilitate the integration of inclusive practices into service delivery and organisational culture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with intersectional principles.
- Monitor progress and evaluate the impact of the Diversity and Inclusion Framework.
About you
You are a passionate advocate for equity, inclusion, and social justice, with a proven ability to lead complex projects that drive meaningful organisational change. You bring a thoughtful, intersectional lens to your work and understand the importance of creating environments where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.
You will have a strong grasp of inclusive practice principles, particularly relating to LGBTIQA+ communities, disability access, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural safety, and CALD communities. You understand how systemic barriers impact service delivery and staff experience.
You bring:
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects in a human services or community setting.
- Strong knowledge of LGBTIQA+ inclusion, disability access, and cultural safety.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A commitment to social justice and systemic change.
