About the Role
The casual Rostering Officer/ AH Rostering Officer will provide rostering support to a cohort of disability services across Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. Centrally located at our Head Office in the Melbourne CBD, you form part of a wider team to ensure that our services and customers are in receipt of the staffing support they require.
You will be on a rotating roster between 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday with potential to pick up After Hours (5pm-10pm) rostering shifts/weekend 9am-3pm shifts & 1st line Oncall support.
Key role responsibilities include:
- Manage and respond promptly to incoming calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with participants and staff.
- Proactively monitor and adapt to client needs and staff availability, ensuring accurate and timely responses to changes.
- Foster strong relationships with workers and clients to enhance engagement, utilization, and staff retention.
- Identify and address shift vacancies, coordinate re-directions, and communicate changes effectively to employees and clients.
- Handle phone calls with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service.
About You:
We are looking for passionate individuals who are able to build strong, trusted and positive relationships with our team members, support workers and customers and will demonstrate;
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Resilience and efficiency in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities with proven ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities.
- Prior experience with Salesforce and Kronos rostering systems will be highly regarded, but not essential
- Friendly team member with an ability to build relationships with all key stakeholders (Service managers, DSWs, clients and their families, etc.)
