THE ROLE

As the Communications specialist you will play with words, share updates and keep our internal and external stakeholders informed and inspired.

You will be responsible for delivering internal communication framework activities in a timely manner, ensuring the messaging is consistent for the brands within the Duratec Limited group (Duratec, DDR Australia, WPF and, MEnD).

  • Develop clear communication plans to deliver on business outcomes
  • Develop audience-focused communications
  • Create and deliver strategic employee communication campaigns for key business projects 
  • Source, write and edit corporate communications content for the business internally including news articles, key messages, briefings, scripts, video, Inspec magazine
  • Collaborate across teams, to ensure consistent messaging and continuous improvement in both external and internal communications
  • Manage communications for corporate campaigns and projects
  • Write for a range of internal communication channels, tailoring style and tone
  • Provide advice to key stakeholders on communication for projects, campaigns and initiatives

ABOUT YOU

You are a strategic thinker with creative flair and have managed teams and stakeholders in a multi brand environment.

Essentials

  • 5 + years' experience in internal communications role
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write and edit content and adapt styles for tone of voice and audience
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools
  • Experience working within the construction industry is desirable

 Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
  • Driver’s License
