4th Year Apprentice LV / Qualified Plant or LV Mechanic
THE ROLE
Service and maintain a range of equipment such as Generators, Air compressors, Light Vehicles and Heavy Rigid Vehicles
Service and maintain specialist coating and concrete remediation equipment
Regional travel to site for shutdown may be required
Assist with the general running of the mechanical yard
Ensure yard is operating to a high safety standard
Organise, order materials and maintain stock levels of consumables
Conduct general tool maintenance, electrical test and tag and fire extinguisher tagging
Onsite servicing and repairs
Occasional away work with overtime and incentive rates
Update and monitor equipment maintenance tracking software
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have a Cert 3 in a Mechanical Trade or be in your 4th year of your LV Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Valid Drivers licence
Positive drive to operate a successful work environment
Strong interest in automotive industry
Experience with servicing and conducting maintenance works on mobile plant machinery
Friendly and enthusiastic about the prospects of achieving a formal qualification and growing your career
Confident communicator and can build relationships
Confident with basic computer skills
