Duratec has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects that the business will deliver in upcoming years.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to build off existing sector offerings in the Goldfields region and implement new Duratec offerings and business along the way.
In this role you will support with business growth by securing new clients and projects and managing those projects through to delivery across the state.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for executing a growth strategy focused on Mining remediation project success.
Your duties will include:
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Using the existing in-house experience as a foundation, develop a coordinated delivery team to deliver multiple Mining remediation works
Develop a pipeline of project opportunities aligned with the business strategy
Develop and maintain client relationships to assist with the aligned pipeline of opportunities
Co-ordinate and align with State Managers to ensure efficient and effective utilisation of group resources
Bid management – Strategically champion bids from engagement through to submission
Develop and maintain relationships with capable and culture aligned contractors
Submit progress reports to Management and take part in Management engagement meetings to give feedback on progress
Forecast sales targets and co-ordinate the successful achievement of targets
Set short- and long-term strategy

Commercial acumen with the responsibility for the financial success of a multiple active projects
Experience working on Blast and Paint projects
Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills
