Prepare, present and deliver tenders of between $100,000 - $20 Million
Electrical, mechanical & fuel projects
Split between Balcatta office and Canning vale
Be responsible for electrical estimating tender quotes and ensuring that tenders are accurate and submitted on time for various projects across WA.
THE ROLE
Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates
Assess technical, commercial and contractual requirement of tenders
Tender evaluation and Bid Management
Compile accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantities
Assist with preparing and developing construction methodologies, programs and submission documentation
Review supplier/vendor quotations for accuracy, scope alignment and compliance
Understand the clients' needs by asking specific and relevant questions
Develop estimates from first principles using site productivity rates
Prepare risk and opportunity including cost escalation analysis for estimates
Review designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives where applicable
Seek additional information or clarification through RFI’s to the Client to ensure a complete set of tender documents
ABOUT YOU
Extensive experience in completing high-quality Construction and Design/Construction (D+C) estimates and proposals for electrical systems
Confident facilitator
Have an understanding of Australian Standards and their relation to Industrial Electrical Systems
Interpersonal skills, confidence, professionalism and self-motivation
Financial and commercial acumen
High level attention to detail and the ability to work to set timeframes while multitasking
Qualifications and Requirements
Tertiary Engineering qualification in relevant discipline
White card
Police Clearance
Drivers Licence
