Ideal for a candidate with experience in leading and supporting a team, technically minded and experienced in managing all commercial aspects of a project.
THE ROLE
Responsibilities and duties include:
Manage on-site works of projects from initial site set up to completion
Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
Oversee the project site, plant & equipment are maintained and in working order
Effective cost control and running of projects to meet project deadlines and budgets
Coordinate direct labour, labour-hire and subcontractors
Ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities
Complete project progress reporting and weekly meetings
Provide advice on any technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable)
Drive problem-solving and lead in developing innovative solutions
ABOUT YOU
Trade or construction background with previous experience working on construction remediation projects
Team player with solid negotiation and influencing skills
Frontline management or leadership experience
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills
Current Driving Licence
Expertise in site management and delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals
