Ideal for a candidate with experience in leading and supporting a team, technically minded and experienced in managing all commercial aspects of a project.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Manage on-site works of projects from initial site set up to completion
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
  • Oversee the project site, plant & equipment are maintained and in working order
  • Effective cost control and running of projects to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Coordinate direct labour, labour-hire and subcontractors
  • Ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities
  • Complete project progress reporting and weekly meetings
  • Provide advice on any technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable)
  • Drive problem-solving and lead in developing innovative solutions

ABOUT YOU

  • Trade or construction background with previous experience working on construction remediation projects
  • Team player with solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Frontline management or leadership experience
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills
  • Current Driving Licence 
  • Expertise in site management and delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals
