THE ROLE
At Duratec, you’ll play a key critical leadership role in driving our integrated business planning, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver insights, ensure accurate forecasting, and support with data-driven decision-making.
Lead financial governance and continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes to boost efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Support
Lead financial due diligence and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decisions and scenario planning
Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present forward-looking financial reports for senior leadership
Conduct variance analysis to explain budget and forecast deviations, offering actionable insights
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process, aligning with strategic goals and departmental inputs
Manage monthly forecasting cycles, incorporating market conditions and business trends
Business Partnership
Collaborate with business units to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial impacts
Act as a finance business partner across departments, delivering insights and support
Process Improvement & Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and controls
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
Work with IT and systems teams to enhance ERP and financial planning systems
ABOUT YOU
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business performance.
You’re comfortable navigating complex financial scenarios and have a proven track record in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting.
You bring:
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, and variance analysis
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders
Experience supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and integration
A collaborative approach to working with business units and cross-functional teams
Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE, Oracle) and financial planning tools; experience improving financial systems is a plus
