Working alongside state leads and operations managers, oversee the project lifecycle of numerous Defence remediation works throughout the ACT region.

THE ROLE

• Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program 
• Involvement with tendering/estimation
• Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
• Raise RFI’s and track responses

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a similar role,
• 3 years of project management experience
• Strong leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
• A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
• Strong commercial acumen 
• Solid programming and planning skills
• Experience in a similar role within a Contractor environment is preferred
• Be adaptable and flexible to travel around the Region
• Police Clearance
• Relocation assistance offered for the successful candidate
