Due to sustained organisational growth, increased project activity, and the integration of newly acquired entities, Duratec requires a dedicated Account Services Manager to modernise and oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and a team of Finance Assistants.

Drive automation, ensure compliance, and introduce innovative approaches to financial processes, supporting scalable growth and operational excellence

Support the integration and transactional operations for newly acquired entities, ensuring seamless onboarding and process alignment.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations, promote efficiency and best practice adoption, and support the enhancement of financial systems. Ensuring robust procedures and processes are prepared, maintained, and regularly updated will be a key focus.

Responsibilities

Oversee AP/AR Operations: Manage day-to day operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounts payable and receivable activities.

Project Bank Accounts (PBAs) & Retentions: Manage PBAs and retention processes, including documentation, payment instructions.

Expense Management & Credit Cards: Oversee the company’s expense management system and corporate credit card program, ensuring timely processing, policy compliance, and accurate reporting.
Deliver training and support to staff on expense policies and systems.

Finance Assistant Oversight: Oversee selected finance assistant tasks, including bank guarantees (BGs)

Audit Support: Provide timely support for transactional audit queries, ensuring accurate and compliant responses.

Continuous Improvement & Process Automation: Champion efforts to identify, implement, and monitor enhancements in finance processes and workflows, including collaborating on automation opportunities across AP/AR to drive efficiency and scalability

Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations and IT to align systems, reporting, and integration of newly acquired entities.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and audit requirements, minimising compliance risk and audit exposure.

Team Management: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in managing shared services or centralised functions, or similar roles (6+ years preferred).
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes, finance and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with JDE or similar ERP
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process automation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong to detail and commitment to compliance.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven capacity to adapt and perform in fast moving evolving environment
