PWA is a specialised welding, mechanical services, and fabrication business. We primarily service clients across the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Mining & Industrial sectors.
We have multiple opportunities for pipefitters and pressure welders to join the team, casual rate $60-$70 per hour with an option to go full time
Pressure Welders
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform welding tasks on pressure vessels and pipework
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
- Ensure work meets quality and safety requirements
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify and resolve any issues
- Maintain detailed records and documentation
- Undertake routine maintenance on tools and equipment
ABOUT YOU
- Qualification in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Must be able to pass 6G weld coupons in GTAW and MMAW.
- 3-5 years experience
- Driver’s License
Pipefitters
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabrication and installation of various sizes of pipework consisting of a range of materials and associated piping components
- Cut, bevel and fit up pipes in accordance with drawings
- Assemble pipe spools including all valves and associated instruments
- Work with other disciplines including riggers to position and erect pipes of various sizes
- Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition
- Demonstrated experience with Pipe Fitting
ABOUT YOU
- Australian-recognised Trade Qualification
- Isometric interpretation essential
- 3-5 years experience
- Driver’s License
