We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our Ingleburn team. If you enjoy working closely with production teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring high standards are maintained, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you'll play a key role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards across our operations. Working closely with both QA and Production teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement while ensuring our products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will:
- Conduct pre-operational and hygiene checks to ensure compliance with GMP standards
- Complete machine and metal detector pre-start checks, calibrations and data entry
- Carry out label, weight, carton and product quality checks
- Monitor cold chain integrity through temperature and gas testing
- Lead GMP walk-arounds and pest inspections
- Partner with QA and Production teams to continuously improve food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure PPE compliance and safe hygiene practices across the site
- Support corrective actions (CARs) and maintain strong OH&S practices
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a food processing or production environment (FMCG highly regarded)
- Experience in Quality Control
- A solid understanding of food safety and OH&S principles
- Strong attention to detail with the confidence to speak up when something isn’t right
- Good communication skills and the ability to work across teams
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
- Flexibility to work morning shifts and pick up additional afternoon hours when needed
