ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to fill a temporary part-time Procurement Officer position in support of the population-based HIV impact assessment (PHIA) project. The Procurement Officer will support PHIA supply chain activities including the sourcing, ordering and payment for PHIA laboratory equipment, consumables, medical supplies, reagents, and vehicles, among other goods and services.
ICAP seeks experienced candidates to fill the temporary part-time position between February - April 2020. The successful candidate will hold a master's degree in supply chain management, public health, project management or business administration, and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working on research, training, or technical assistance projects related to public health or a health-related field.
The incumbent will have demonstrated experience in health supply chain activities, procurement processes and project purchasing, as well as demonstrated competence working within CDC or similar governmental regulations and procedures.
