Job Summary: | The primary role of this position is to provide individual and group psychotherapy, consultation, crisis evaluation and services, and outreach related to Counseling and Psychological Services, under the supervision of a licensed clinician. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. |
Position Qualifications: | Must be a Registered Mental Health Intern in the State of Florida. Must have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, guidance, psychology, or rehabilitation counseling at a college or university. Must have satisfied all FL state requirements for licensure either (1) within two years of date of hire, or (2) within two years of becoming a Registered Mental Health Intern in the State of Florida, whichever comes first. |
Preferred Qualifications | Demonstrated record of successful performance in and commitment to the practice of psychotherapy with both individuals and group, excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a warm, caring, respectful and non-judgmental manner; skilled collaborator to work as part of a team with students, colleagues, and other professionals/administrators. Experience working in a university counseling center; experience initiating and developing outreach programs for both the general student body and targeted under-served groups; demonstrated commitment and competency in working with ethnic minorities |
