Mater is looking for a Registrar/Advance Trainee, Perinatal and/or Infant Psychiatrist to join the Catherine’s House team. This maximum-term (6 month, in line with the Registrar rotation), part time role (20 hours per week).

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

You will be involved in assessment, case formulation and treatment of perinatal mothers, infants & their families.

  • individual, dyadic and group interventions with infants and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • attending the handovers
  • participating in multidisciplinary case conference once a week
  • preparing reports, keeping medical records, collaborating with other services
  • provide on-call clinical support to mental health facilities (Catherines House mother baby unit and Mater Young Adult and Mental Health Services ).
  • teaching medical students or RMOs who are allocated to the service.
  • participation in research and quality activities.
  • participating in professional development activities within the service.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA and stage III RANZCP trainee.
