About the role

Mater Development and Infrastructure is looking for a Planning Program Coordinator to join the team. Reporting to the Director Built Environment this role is leave coverage for 12 months and is based between our Newstead and south Brisbane campuses.

What you’ll be doing

The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Space, Art and Heritage Program on a statewide basis ensuring a strategic approach is taken to shaping long term plans across the MML organisation. The role plays an integral part in coordinating space, signage, wayfinding, art and heritage aspects of the organisation and supports the decanting and relocation of clinical and non-clinical departments as required.

About you

You will bring substantial experience in managing a portfolio of space, art & heritage, wayfinding, or capital works projects, particularly in health, education, or research environments. Your proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial. You will also meet the below criteria:

  • Previous experience in managing a portfolio of space, art & heritage, wayfinding or capital works projects in a health, education or research environment;
  • Previous project management experience in capital works projects of a health / hospital nature;
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholder groups; • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Ability to plan, develop and execute a project plan to achieve project integration, and scope
  • Ability to manage projects within the framework and policies and procedures
  • You will have experience in a Healthcare environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience related to business process improvement techniques, change management and facilitation to achieve outcomes (desirable)
  • Competent in use of Revit (desirable)
  • Understanding of Health Service Environment (desirable)
