About the role

Mater’s Health – Revenue team is looking for an experienced Private Revenue Project Support - South East Queensland to join the team. This is a full time, 7-month maximum term contract based at our Newstead offices.

The Private Revenue Project Support provides a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the Patient Administration and Revenue and Information Management Stream Leads on the Private Revenue Project. As a key team member, you will be responsible for gathering essential information, designing future strategies, supporting document development and SOPs, organising workshops, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication for project success.

Reporting to the Senior Director Private Revenue and Information Management, you will leverage your subject matter expertise to enhance revenue-related processes within your field. Your contributions will be instrumental in analysing, documenting, and improving current practices while remaining open to new ideas and advancements.

Salary range: $45.81 - $50.47 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! 

What you’ll be doing

This role offers a dynamic environment where you can drive continuous improvement and success by focusing on both current state analyses and future state enhancements within the organisation.

  • Assist with project organisation by scheduling meetings, workshops, and activities.
  • Support workshop facilitation by preparing materials and managing logistics.
  • Summarise workshop outcomes and actions, including current and future state process maps.
  • Aid in developing, editing, and updating project documents such as reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate on policies, procedures, and SOPs for key processes within the project.
  • Manage project timelines by tracking milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Attend team catch-ups and provide support in deploying designs and project tasks. 

About you

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Essential Qualifications or Experience:

  • Prior work experience in healthcare administration or project management
  • Ability to develop or update policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in document management and project timeline tracking

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Project Management
  • Knowledge of healthcare or revenue cycle management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Forms, Planner, TEAMS, Visio, and OneNote

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective multitasking and task prioritisation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with various stakeholders
