Mater Human Resources is looking for a HR Service Advisor – Compliance to join the team! This 6 month, part time (19 hours per week) role is based at our Newstead campus.

Salary range: $43.31 - $47.72 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  + access to many staff benefits!  

What you’ll be doing 

You will Coordinate and quality-check employer and employee compliance information, manage reporting and audits related to professional registrations and legal obligations, and support internal teams with compliance queries and process improvements. Maintain and oversee Mater’s organisational portals and documentation for government and legal requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. You will achieve this by: 

  • Gathering, coordinating and quality checking employer information for Income Protection, Total and Permanent Disablement and Compulsory Third Party claims.
  • Monitoring, auditing and reporting on staff whose conditions of employment require them to hold professional registration, Blue Cards, NDIS Workers Screening Clearances, statutory declarations and valid visa and immigration work rights.
  • Managing Mater Organisation Portals with various government bodies.
  • Providing stakeholders with regular and ad hoc compliance reports.
  • Coordinating DocuSigned Invoices for payment by Mater Finance.
  • Assisting Help Desk, HR Services Team, Business Partners and Payroll with compliance queries as required.
  • Contributing to the development of reports, processes, and process improvements.
  • Providing the Director HR Operations with regular reporting pertaining to the auditing of Payroll and Superuser activities in Aurion.
  • Gathering, coordinating and quality checking employer information for court ordered Subpoenas and Notices of Non-Party Disclosure
  • Reviewing and updating employee files to ensure all necessary compliance-related documents, are current and filed.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in the field of Human Resource Management is desirable however not essential. You will also have experience in administration or human resources.
