About the role
Mater Health – Revenue is seeking a Private Revenue Project - Revenue & Info Stream Lead for a full time, maximum term 7-month contract based at South Brisbane.
The Revenue and Information Stream Lead will lead the review of, design solutions collaboratively and implement recommendations and improvements from projects and investigations. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in scanning, coding, billing and auditing processes. Strong prioritisation and collaboration skills are essential, as well as leadership responsibilities, working closely with experts and a part-time support team member.
Salary range: $62.74 - $67.20 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Project Lead and Project Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring effective implementation of recommendations and seamless integration of improvements into daily operations.
- Coordinate stream activities, facilitate communication across teams
- Drive process improvement execution, implement changes in workflows
- Monitor effectiveness of changes, adjust as needed for success
- Partner with experts to identify challenges and opportunities
- Maintain communication with project leads and stakeholders
- Manage process improvement initiatives, enhance efficiency and compliance
- Develop SOPs, support consistency in revenue processes
- Develop and maintain project plans, track progress and provide updates
- Ensure resource allocation aligns with project priorities
- Implement process improvement recommendations within revenue domain
- Enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance in various processes
- Standardise workflows, integrate into operations
- Provide regular reports and updates on progress and outcomes
- Indirectly enhance patient and stakeholder satisfaction through efficient processes
- Streamline workflows, reduce delays, improve turnaround times
- Improve resource utilisation for operational effectiveness
- Ensure accuracy in clinical coding and billing practices
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies
About you
The preferred candidate will possess a strong background in project management and demonstrated experience in leading multiple work streams, ideally within the Healthcare Industry.
- Analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Proficiency in developing digital tools for data management
- Ability to lead teams through change and ensure adoption of new processes
- Competence in delivering training and communication strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals
- Desirable qualifications in process improvement, familiarity with revenue cycle management, and understanding of healthcare compliance
