About the role
The Administration Team Leader will provide business support in addition to assisting the Administration Manager with leading and coordinating the administration team to ensure efficient and effective administrative support services. The role will focus on teamwork, operational capability, service delivery, and continuous improvement. The role will be permanent full time.
Our team is committed to operational excellence and delivering high-quality support to ensure the smooth functioning and provision of administrative support to the Mater Mothers Leadership group.
The role works closely with the Administration Manager and the Clinical and Administration Teams at Mater Mothers. It is responsible for managing resources, training, process mapping and monitoring key performance criteria to meet business needs and growth.
Salary range: $46.96 - $51.73 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
- Assist the Administration Manager in providing leadership and mentorship to the administration team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Develop training programs, facilitate knowledge sharing, and champion best practices for efficient administrative operations
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures, operational manuals, and work practices
- Act as a point of contact for administrative matters for the team and provide expert guidance and support
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives with approval to implement changes
- Provide guidance and support to admin team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
- Identify, report, respond to and rectify workplace health and safety (WHS) concerns from within own reporting structure
About you
- Ability to work independently in an agile and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and processes, while maintaining a practical approach to avoid perfectionism that could hinder progress
