Mater Research are looking for a Program Manager to join the team! This full time, maximum term (until June 2028) role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.

Salary range: $60.81 - $64.35 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The Program Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the Queensland eConsultant (QeC) service and establish strong relationships with stakeholders. This role involves managing project activities, ensuring compliance with funding obligations, and providing support for administrative, financial, and contractual responsibilities.
The main focus is to project manage the expansion of the QeC Service at Mater, aiming to provide timely advice to GPs across Queensland from specialists and potentially reduce the need for outpatient referral through asynchronous communication.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Queensland eConsultant service
- Develop relationships with stakeholders, including community, primary, and acute care partners
- Manage administrative operations, reporting, budgeting, and financial matters
- Lead reporting and budget development
- Liaise with funders and executive for project milestones
- Cultivate stakeholder relationships and maintain network
- Prepare operational protocols, reports, and communication materials
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
- Lead and manage team members efficiently
About you
The successful candidate will be required to have a tertiary qualification in business, project management, or information management. A post-graduate project management qualification, or 2 years equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proficient in project and team operations management, budgeting, and HR support
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
- Excellent written communication skills using various computer applications
- Extensive project management experience or relevant combination of education/training
- Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes to successful completion
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to support team development
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Personal attributes of integrity, tact, sound judgement, respect for confidentiality, and patient autonomy; commitment to Mater Group's mission and goals
