Maters Group Finance – Supply Chain Operations is seeking a Data Analyst for a full time, maximum term 9-month contract based at Newstead with hybrid 60/40 working options!
The Data Analyst – P2P and ERP Transformation at Mater plays a key role in enhancing procurement, supply chain, and finance-related data quality within the D365 ERP environment to support Mater’s enterprise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and ERP transformation program. Collaborating with finance, procurement, supply chain, and IT teams, the role enables data-driven decision-making, strengthens master data governance, and facilitates the implementation of advanced warehousing, automated purchasing, catalogue management, and reporting processes.
Salary range: $53.24 - $57.92 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will provide hands-on analytical support to ensure data quality, traceability, and reporting capabilities align with Mater’s future-state operational model.
- Data Cleansing & Validation:
- Identify, investigate, and correct inaccuracies and inconsistencies in key datasets
- Standardize data structures, formats, and hierarchies for improved traceability
- Maintain governance rules and validation logic to enhance data accuracy
- Transformation Support:
- Optimize procurement, inventory, and purchasing workflows through data analysis
- Assist with project initiatives such as catalogue consolidation and COA alignment
- Contribute to testing activities and system readiness validation
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Create dashboards to monitor data quality and operational trends.
- Develop reporting views for inventory optimization and warehouse performance
- Support audit trails and documentation for data-related changes
About you
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in finance, procurement, or ERP projects
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like Microsoft D365 or SAP
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL or similar query tools
- Understanding of master data management, data cleansing, and data lifecycle governance principles
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, desirable
- Experience in health, logistics, or supply chain environments and transformation projects is highly advantageous
- Strong financial acumen and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Analytical skills to derive insights from data
- Attention to detail in data analysis and cleansing
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills for technical and business stakeholders
- Proactive approach to improving data quality and project outcomes
