About the role
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cardiac Interventionist to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality interventional cardiology services.

What you'll be doing
Provide inpatient and on-call interventional cardiology services at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angioplasty and stenting.
Collaborate with a team of skilled nursing and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
Mater will support you in your transition to private practice, including access to established referral networks and administrative assistance.
About you
Essential:
Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with subspecialty training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology or equivalent.
Clinical / Technical Competencies
Demonstrated expertise in interventional cardiology procedures.
Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
